Applied Epic integration

Connect Applied Epic to the rest of your agency.

Applied Epic holds your clients, policies and agency accounting. We build the tools around it, so account managers spend less time rekeying carrier documents and chasing renewals.

Keep it, then extend it

What Applied Epic does well, and where teams outgrow it.

Where Applied Epic shines
  • One agency recordClients, policies, activities and agency accounting live in one system across lines of business.
  • Carrier downloadsThrough Ivans, policy and commission data from many carriers can download straight into Epic.
  • Email filing from OutlookApplied's Outlook add-in links emails to the right account and files them without leaving the inbox.
Where teams hit the limits
  • Carriers that don't downloadSome carriers and lines still send PDFs, portal documents and emails that get rekeyed.
  • Renewals tracked on the sideMarketing a renewal across carriers often runs on spreadsheets and long email threads.
  • Reports beyond the systemProducer, carrier and book-of-business reports that mix Epic with CRM or finance data get built by hand.
What we build around it

Connecting Applied Epic to the rest of your work.

01

Carrier documents filed to the right account

Policies, endorsements and notices are read, matched to the client and attached for review.

A shared renewal tracker

Upcoming renewals, carrier submissions and quotes in one view the whole team can see.

03

Certificate requests handled faster

Requests from email become drafts for an account manager to check and send.

04

CRM and Epic in sync

Prospects and clients stay matched between your sales tools and Epic.

05

Commission statement checks

Carrier statements are compared to expected commissions, with differences flagged.

06

Book of business, retention and producer numbers in one scheduled report.

Before we start

How access works.

Applied Epic is more tightly controlled than most systems. Applied certifies software vendors through its own program, and an agency that wants a custom connection needs an integration license from Applied on top of Epic, arranged through your Applied account team (see Applied on Epic connections). We work out access with you and Applied before any build starts, and test away from live agency data where Applied allows it.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do we have to replace Applied Epic?

No. Epic stays your agency management system. We build around it and connect what it doesn't reach.

Will this break when Epic updates?

We use only Applied's supported connection methods and add checks that alert us if something stops working after an Epic release.

What do we need from Applied before you start?

Usually an integration license and approval set up through your Applied account team. We help you ask for the right thing, and we confirm access before quoting a build.
